    Overload Protection in Vehicles

    Abstract

In vehicles, most of the accidents occur due to over load. The stability of the vehicle will be affected. Also the braking system will mall function due to overload. This project is developed for the users to avoid overloading in vehicles. The main modules in this project are load sensor, microcontroller unit, Buzzer and vehicle. The over load sensor is connected at the center of gravity of the vehicle. Thus when the vehicle is loaded, the entire load acts at the particular point. The sensor is connected with the microcontroller circuit. The sensor sends signal to the microcontroller unit. The microcontroller analyses the signal and accordingly it sends signal to the display unit. The display unit displays the current load of the vehicle. If the load exceeds the particular limit, the microcontroller operates the buzzer to produce warning sound. It uses PIC16F73 (28 pin Micro controller). The micro controller controls the entire operations. The micro controller program is written in assembly language.
