    7th Sense. A Multipurpose Robot for Military


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to control a weapon robot through computer. The user can control all the operations of the robot using computer. When the user presses a specific button in the computer, a digital signal is generated and sent to the Zigbee transceiver through computer interface. Zigbee protocol is used to transfer the information from one module to another. In the robotic section, zigbee receiver receives the information from the zigbee transmitter. The Zigbee receiver (connected to the robot) receives the signal and it controls the microcontroller accordingly. The microcontroller controls the Robotic control unit. In the robot, there is a bomb detector. Bomb detector is used to detect the bomb in the war field. Laser weapon is used for shooting purpose. The design and port programs are written in Visual Basic. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language. This type of robot can be used in military places.
