    Accident Avoidance- Service Road Vehicle Entry


    Abstract

    An accident is a specific, unexpected, unusual and unintended external action which occurs in a particular time and place, with no apparent and deliberate cause but with marked effects. Carelessness of the driver is the major factor of such accidents. Thus there is a need to alert the drivers to avoid accidents. In this project accident avoidance system is introduced which makes the entry of the vehicle into the service road safe. This project consists of RF transmitter, RF receiver, LCD display. RF transmitter and receiver will be placed in the vehicle. RF receiver in the particular vehicle will recognize the signal from the RF transmitter placed in the nearby vehicle. The received signal will be sent to the microcontroller. Microcontroller generates the control signal and sends it to the LCD display. Thus the information about the nearby vehicle will be displayed in the LCD display.
