Temperature and Water Level Monitoring and Controlling in Steam Power Plant

    Abstract

This project is developed to monitor and control the water level and heating coil in steam power plant in a wireless manner using PLC. The temperature sensor senses the temperature of the steam plant and a water level sensor senses the water level of the steam plant. And these sensors are connected to the PLC. The PLC generates the control signal and sends to the driver which is driven by a relay. Relay controls the operation of valve and supply of heating coil. If the temperature exceeds, the heating coil’s supply gets reduced and if the temperature value goes low the supply will increase. Also, if the water level of the steam plant is below the certain limit, the valve gets open and if the water level of the steam plant is above the normal limit, the value gets closed.
