PLC Based Tank Level And Temperature Control Automation For House

    Abstract

Now a day’s there is a rapid development in urban residential area, whereas in case of water distribution system they are using traditional method, which is not atomized. Water management is a matter of high priority in India and those responsible for major operations of water distribution need to be educated in this endeavor. Automation provides optimized solution to all problems of distribution of water and maintenance of the related equipment. The best way to improve the water distribution system is by using industrial PLC and PC system. In this project level sensor is connected in the water tank. The level sensor signal is monitored in the PC. The sensed signal from the level sensor is given to the PLC. PLC generates the control signal according to the water level in the water tank. If the water level is low, pump motor will start to fill the tank. If the water level is high PLC sends the signal that indicates the motor to stop the pumping action. PC controls the open/close operation of solenoid valve. In case of emergency motor can be controlled through PC.
