RFID Based Vehicle Information Tracking System

Abstract

The present day metropolitan areas have seen a burgeoning growth in human population as well as vehicles. In this project a new method of vehicle information tracking system is introduced. With this RFID vehicle tracking system, vehicle information can be automatically gathered to enable vehicle management to be more efficient and safe. With RFID vehicle tracking system with high identification accuracy, parking areas or gated communities can manage their vehicles efficiently without human intervention as well as easy in-and-out access for drivers and with low deployment and operation cost. The vehicle has inbuilt RFID card. RFID reader is fixed in that traffic signal region. If the vehicle speed exceeds the particular limit, RFID reader senses the code of the vehicle. By using this code information about the vehicle can be tracked. The tracked information will be stored in the PC for further use.
