Soil Moisture Sensor Based Intelligent Irrigation Water Pump Controlling System With Gsm Technology

    Abstract

The main aim of the project is to develop the irrigation system using GSM technology. The purpose of the project is to monitor the soil level continuously and also to pump the water using GSM technology. The goal of the project is to develop irrigation system by continuously monitoring the soil moisture level on the field. Whenever the soil condition is dry then the controller automatically sends a message to the authorized person by using GSM module. After the person receives a message the he can ON/OFF the water pump according to his requirement by passing a simple message. The objective of this project is to provide a combination of manual supervision and partial automation and is similar to manual set-up in most respects but it reduces the labor involved in terms of Irrigation design is simple, easy to install, microcontroller-based circuit to monitor and record the values of soil moisture (Transistor circuit) environment that are continuously modified and controlled in order optimize them to achieve maximum plant growth and yield.
