    Application Of GPRS Technology In Water Quality Monitoring System


    Abstract

    The present existing method overcomes the disadvantage of the existing method by finding the exact location where water is polluted. Our designed project “Application of GPRS technology in water quality monitoring system” will more useful for controlling the water pollution caused by industries by intimating the pollution information to the pollution control room as a message. Water pollution is detected by using two sensors like PH sensor and waste gas monitoring sensor. When these sensors detect water pollution then they send to controller from controller they send to the control room through GSM modem connected to 8051 micro controllers. At control room GSM modem connected to ARM9 board receives data and sends to PC through Ethernet module. The system uses a compact circuitry built around S3C2440 (ARM9), 8051 micro controller Programs are developed in Embedded C. Flash magic is used for loading programs into Microcontroller.
