    Multi Purpose Multimeter

    Abstract

This project is developed for the user to measure the voltage, current, temperature, intensity of the light, resistance, capacitance, inductance using LCD display. It consists of current sensor, voltage sensor, LDR, thermistor, parasitic sensor, Microcontroller unit and LCD display. Each sensor is connected to single input probe. That sensors are decided by relay section. The input signal is given to the microcontroller through switching unit. The microcontroller senses the signal and counts component values. It calculates unit value of the parasitic component. The microcontroller sends the data to the LCD display to display the component value. This device is cost effective, portable and easy to use. Since microcontroller is used, the output will be more accurate.
