AERO AMBULANCE QUAD COPTER BASED TECHNOLOGY FOR AN EMERGENCY HEALTHCARE

    Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to develop a prototype of an aero ambulance to save human lives. Blood is a basic resource to being used in a wide extent of therapeutic centre frameworks like disasters, emergency obstetric organizations, and different medical procedures. In our daily life, many people die due to delay in transportation to reach the hospital. It occurs due to the high traffic in the city. Many hospitals are struggling to get the blood to keep the patients alive in an emergency situation. According to the survey conducted by the Centre of Science and Environment (CSE), the average speed of the vehicle does not exceed 30-40km/h during peak hours. The main advantage of this prototype described in this paper to increase the delivery speed at peak hours. So that in this prototype we are used quadcopter technology to transport blood from distributed blood banks to the hospitals and also from a hospital to another hospital. This quadcopter is easily live-tracked by a Global Positioning System (GPS) through an android application. This model helps to replace the normal ambulance to aero ambulance. Lack of transportation availability and high traffic, quadcopter based technology is the best one to reach the location as soon as possible. Thus the main aim is to develop a multifunctional medical aid which can fly over at any calamity that serves for millions of victims.

    Existing System

    GSM, WI-FI.

    Proposed System

In this system, an android application is used to interconnect the hospitals. In an emergency situation, an android application is used to request the blood from the nearby hospitals as well as blood banks. After getting the request from the hospital, the nearby hospitals need to check the availability of the requested blood. Based on the availability the nearby hospitals send the response to the needed hospital. While getting a positive response by the hospital using the Aero ambulance, we are transporting blood products from the respective hospital to the needed hospital. Using Global Positioning System and cellular network the aero ambulance is been navigated. We can track the current location of the quadcopter by using the Global Positioning System.
