RF BASED STUDENT ATTENDANCE MONITORING SYSTEM

    Abstract

The main purpose of this project is to monitor the student attendance of their campus and detect fake attendance using IR sensor. This system is proposed to take attendance of students through RFID and IR sensor. The proposed system consists of RFID tag would be insert into the student’s ID card. When student comes in the vicinity of the class then RF receiver which receives signal from RF transmitter via student ID card. The status of the student information is sent to the PC via server who is exist in their classroom or not and the attendance list is updated automatically. And also IR detects the pulse when student enters the classroom or campus. When a student enter the IR pair detect pupil’s count and the IR signal will be high that signal will send to microcontroller after the IR signal become high then only RFID tag can swap. If IR pair does not detect a person then RFID Tag will not read. It is small scale application which is completely automated, easy to control, time saving and reliable. This is the main motive of our system and in addition anywhere and anytime can greatly help the lecturers to keep track of their student’s attendance.
