Remote Network Monitoring and Controlling

Abstract

Remote Controlling System is the mechanism of performing controlling activities on the remote client through the LAN network. By specifying the IP address of the particular remote client we can do the control operations. The work group name is given as the input. Then the systems will give the hostname and IP address of all the clients which are currently connected to the LAN. This system consists of user, administrator personal and server. By giving the workgroup name as input, the host name, IP address and physical address of the clients were founded. From the list of IP addresses we have to select particular client from the group.

Existing System

Administrator is not having full control. There is no provision to reboot or shutdown. It supports only one remote command on the remote machine at the same time. Never gets the feeling that we are using the remote machine. In existing system it cannot capture the remote systems Desktop. There is no secure process for maintaining the data that should be used for the reliable way. The select time and shut down time requirements system is not provided properly. This is not a secure process for monitoring the system. The entire data is simply responsible for maintaining the data in a required set of time. Thus this is a simple and efficient process for the system that should be maintained and work in a system verification phase. Thus the existing system is a time consuming process. It is not reliable for checking the entire computation. Controlling keyboard event is the main authenticate process to eliminate the untrusted user. This advantage is not provided in the existing model.

Proposed System

In Remote Desktop Connection usually two PC’s are connected in the LAN. In These utility both System can be a Server as per the requirements two PC’s are connected with each other either by their IP address and Host Name. The proposed method the server function enables you to manage the client system remotely by specifying a controlling system. Server function has remote management capabilities for managing the target (client) system. The proposed method provides the facility of controlling the Client PC through IP address and host name. It includes the facilities Shutdown, lock, Restart and logoff the client system and it enabling and disabling services of operating system such as Task manager, Control panel, my computer. This project is to provide the maximum control over the client’s pc, security to the hardware resources about the network to the administrator, the major activities of the project is controlling the mouse access, Keyboard access and Viewing the Memory details and Checking the Storage details, Shutting down the system Checking the Software used and Checking the Operating system used doing control panel activities.
